You will need to measure and calculate accurately, so that this table will be able to fold and unfold relatively easily.
When you are looking for the pattern for a folding picnic table, take into consideration the size of the different people who will be using it on a regular basis. Make sure it is big enough to hold them and the proper wood to be used, has to be strong and capable of seating that many.
A wine rack could be used in your basement, taking note how many you will be storing and the space that is available for it.
Cabinets would be handy, to place all those extra things, such as your outdoor jackets and boots as you come in the back door. This will keep the clutter in one place.
